Q: Does DXReader run on AutoCAD 2007?
A: Yes. The current version of DXReader runs on AutoCAD 2007 or later. To use DXReader in earlier verions (AutoCAD 2004, 2005 or 2006), please use the following e-mail to contact us: info@ofcdesk.com.
Q: Does DXReader run on AutoCAD-based products such as AutoCAD Architecture?
A: Yes. DXReader runs on all Autodesk verticals based on AutoCAD 2007 or later, using the same rules described in the previous question.
Q: Can I install several copies of DXReader in my company?
A: Yes. There is no limit for how many copies you can install. You will only need to get a valid serial number and registration for each one.
Q: I have huge symbol sets placed in several libraries. Is DXReader fast enough to deal with them?
A: DXReader was designed to deal with huge libraries and is optimized to allow users find drawings, navigate through several product line levels just as easy and fast as you need!
Q: I already have some drawings in my PC. Can I use DXReader to create a library with all these drawings?
A: No. DXReader was made to only manage existing libraries. If you need to create your own libraries you will need to use LibEx, OFCDesk’s library creator software.
Q: Does DXReader support mirrored part numbers?
A: Yes. Whenever you mirror a DXReader entity, with its respective part number, DXReader understands this mirrored block may have a different part number. So, it automatically changes the part number for your project consistency.
